When I first visited Piazza San Marco I was amazed how many people who were shooting photos. In a way it seemed weird. A simple google photo search reveals that there already exist thousand of photos of the square. I found this urge to personally document the square interesting. In the spring of 2014 I decided to go back to Venice and document the tourists who were shooting photos at the square. The background was removed from the images to focus on the act of shooting a photo and remove the context. Assistent: Mathias Molteni.
