Headlines

During December 2009 I collected 44 headlines from various English language news publications. I chose them on their poetic and humoristic potential. I choose an archetypical newsstand typeface to present them. I also wanted to question the concept of readymades. Readymades has mainly been associated with physical objects since Marcel Duchamp coined the term with his famous urinal in 1917. Could news headlines function as readymades?
