Food Portraits

A shawarma, a hamburger with fries and a hotdog scanned in a standard desktop scanner. By scanning this everyday fast food dishes in very high resolution unnoticed details becomes apparent. They both seems beautiful and a bit disgusting. The images could also be regarded as action paintings, where the act of smashing and squeezing them into the scanner creates the final composition.
