The History of Art

“The History of Art” is a audio / visual piece by me and composer and musician Emil Sylvester Jakobsen created for the American podcast The 16oz. Canvas. The piece interprets art history as being a highly subjective matter. In “The History of Art” the progression of events is observed through the eyes of a designer who had been growing up in the Danish welfare state and has been influenced by western modernism, post punk and science. The piece is a personal account of how meaning is formed thought understanding and maybe even misinterpretation of history.
